Barbed and Dangerous is for those people who like to fish, and when we say fish we mean…really fish. This blog is not for the high priests of new-fangled techniques, or fishing snobs who won’t talk to those who take pleasure in catching a seemingly less glamorous species, or pedlars of the most expensive kit…but people who love the sensation of being outside in the rain or sun lashing at the water haplessly with only occasional success. The type of fish you chase does not matter, but the philosophy does: if it has fins and lives in water you will try and catch it. We honour these stories. We take pride in the successes and the failures. Oh…and we are bit green too…we want to maintain pristine fishing waters for the next generation of obsessives.
